Who was born on this day (September 5)

Today is the anniversary of the birth of:
* Comic genius BOB NEWHART, 1929. Which sitcom did you like better – “The Bob Newhart Show” – where he was a psychologist, and Suzanne Pleshette played his wife; OR “Newhart,” in which he ran an inn, and Mary Frann was his wife? * FREDDIE MERCURY, lead singer of QUEEN, born this day in 1946. What’s your favorite QUEEN song? I lean toward “You’re My Best Friend” & “Another One Bites the Dust.”

* MICHAEL KEATON, 1951. Favorite Keaton flick? My brother loves NIGHT SHIFT. I vote for CLEAN AND SOBER or BEETLEJUICE. Another one I really liked – “Dream Team.” He plays a doctor working in a mental institution. It is a sort of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” meets “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

You really can’t go wrong with any movie that has Keaton (Michael, that is – not Diane!) 😉
